Jonathan FeBland was born in London in 1960. He took up Piano at the age of 4 and later on, also studied Trumpet and Clarinet. By 16 he was specialising in Composition and at 17 he was offered a place at the Royal Academy of Music where he studied from 1978-1982 as a full time Senior Student.

At that time, Jonathan was focused on a career of Classical Music Composition with influences such as John Cage, Stockhausen and Shostakovich.

By 1986 he was in print with Universal Edition (London) and had already notched up over a dozen South Bank performances.

Alongside his Classical career, opportunities came to write New Age music with Clifford White on the New World label. 16 CDs of New Age music later, he found himself writing Jazz and more Classical Music although usually in much lighter genres than previously. Influences were now from the English school such as Walton and Malcolm Arnold.

From 2004 to 2007 Jonathan had been working on a CD “Piano Colours” with Pianist, Louis Demetrius Alvanis on the Meridian label. This CD of Piano Music is unique because it seems to cover almost every genre of music (apart from pop)…

Finally in 2008 Jonathan hooked up with Mike Turtle via Facebook and within days they had started discussing the possibility of a new Pop Music project. Interestingly, there were still a few genres left for Jonathan to tackle!
